The lotus rises from the mud.

How is coaching different from consulting? Therapy? Sports coaching? A best friend?
Consulting: Coaching could be considered by some as a form of consulting.
But the coach stays with the client to help implement the new skills, changes and
goals to make sure they really happen.
Therapy: Coaching is not therapy, although for some clients, the two work well together in a complementary way. Coaches don't work on "issues" or focus on the past. We help the client move forward and set personal and professional goals that will give them the life and experiences they really want.
Sports: Coaching includes several principles from sports coaching, like teamwork, going for the goal, being your best. But unlike sports coaching, most professional coaching is not competition or win/lose based.
Best friend: A best friend is wonderful to have. But is your best friend a professional without bias who you will trust to advise you on the most important aspects of your life and/or business? Have a best friend and a coach.
So, is your life completely together?
My life is a process, a path. My life will never be
“perfected”, nor will I. I accept and appreciate that I am an
evolving human being with strengths and weaknesses.
How can you be an example for me?
I don’t suggest to anyone that they use my life as an example of
the way things should be for them. We are all so very different
and come from different places. I don’t compare my life to
others nor do I encourage anyone else to. It’s my belief that
this is a trap that can be very oppressive and discouraging. I
also believe that despite appearances, we never know what a
person has gone through or is truly going through in life unless
we are them.
Is this service new?
No, it is not. Individuals and companies of all types have been
benefiting from this profession for decades. There are tens of
thousands of those who coach in over 70 countries.
What would I need to do to work with you?
I cannot emphasize enough: the results are up to you. With hypnosis,
various types of coaching or other techniques, you have to be willing
to allow yourself to fully take advantage of your sessions.
Be open-minded. It’s difficult for one to learn that which they think they know all about. Be very willing and open to the change in your life. Be ready to be aware, to realize, discover and resolve, at your pace. The process is powerful and should be very rewarding and positive for you, though it will take effort, focus and dedication on your part. I will probably encourage you to be patient with yourself and the process.
I ask that you be completely honest with me, even in areas where it has been difficult to be completely candid with yourself. However, if you do not want to talk about something, feel free to let me know. Usually clients are very straightforward because they’ll benefit from being fully engaged in the process.
